Middletown Garage Roof Leak Leaves Water Damage

A garage in Middletown had a leak occur in the ceiling that damaged the sheetrock in the ceiling allowing water to enter. Stored items, including items in cardboard boxes, received the brunt of the water loss. SERVPRO technicians do temporary repair actions during clean up such as tarping over the roof so no additional water comes into the worksite. The techs had little water to remove and set up multiple air movers to dry the contents of the garage and the ceiling area. The damage to the building materials by the moisture turned out to be excessive. The techs removed the sheetrock on the walls and ceilings to ensure the framework dried completely.
